Friday and Saturday, April 10-11, 2026, from 10am - 2 pm Framed photos are to be delivered to Richmond Columbian Properties, 204 North Tenth Street, Richmond, IN. Use the side door off the parking lot.
Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 7:00 pm A reception honoring the photographers will be held at Richmond Columbian Properties. Awards will be announced at 7:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday April 25-26, May 2-3 from 1pm - 3pm Entries will be on display to the public and for sale during the dates and times listed above.
Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 1pm - 3pm Pick up all photos.
ELIGIBILITY
The Richmond Columbian Property Photography Show is open to all photographers 18 years and older who live within a 100-mile radius of Richmond, IN. All photographs must be original. Photographs must not be withdrawn by the photographer prior to the closing of the show. All photos must be framed, and hand delivered.
ENTRY FEE
Each entry is $10 cash or check only. No limit. Entry fees are made payable to Richmond Columbian Properties and are not refundable.
FRAMING
Photographs must be framed, and a wire securely attached for hanging on a hook. No saw-tooth, clip frame hangers or wires not securely attached will be accepted. Photographs printed on canvas or metal will be accepted with a wire attached for hanging.
CATEGORIES
There will still be an open category for both Amateur and Advanced.
This will be the second year for an Historic Preservation categoryfor both amateur and advanced photographers. Historic preservation pictures could be a photo of a house or building or a detail of that structure needing preservation or perhaps a building or house that has already been preserved.
AWARDS
The top three Advanced photographs, the top three Amateur photographs, the top three Historic Preservationphotographs and one Best of Show photograph will each receive a $150 cash prize.
SALES
Richmond Columbian Properties will retain a 20% commission. Prices on the entry form must include the 20% commission.
JUROR
Professional photographer Susanna Tanner received a telecommunications and psychology degree from IU Bloomington. After some experience as a videographer, she decided it was time to switch to a camera and began her journey into still photography. Susanna is a visual storyteller and for over twenty years she has worked with contrast, light, and a balance of simplicity and depth to perfect her art.
INSURANCE AND LIABILITY
Care will be taken in handling all photographs and frames, but the Richmond Columbian Properties Inc. will not be responsible for loss or damage. Submitting an entry will be an agreement to release Richmond Columbian Properties Inc, its officers and members from all liability for loss or damage.
There is no limit to how many photos that you may submit. Copy this form below as needed.
