Friday and Saturday, April 5-6, 2024 from 10 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Framed photos to be delivered to Richmond Columbian Properties, 204 North Tenth Street, Richmond, IN.
Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. A reception honoring the photographers will be held at Richmond Columbian Properties. Awards will be announced at 7:30 P.M.
Sat-Sun. April 20,21 21024 from 1:00 P.M. -3:00 P.M. and April 27-28 2024 from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M., Thursday
April 25, 2024 during the Quality of Place Conference starting a 9:30 P.M. Fri. May 3, 2024 during the Party for Preservation starting at 5:30 P.M. and Sat. May 4, 2024 from 1:00 -3:00 P.M. Entries will be on display to the public and for sale during the dates and times listed above.
Sat. May 4, 2024, from 3 pm-5 P.M. Pick up all photos.

ELIGIBILITY The Richmond Columbian Property Photography Show is open to all photographers 18 years and older who live within a 100-mile radius of Richmond, IN. All photographs must be original and taken within the last two years. Photographs must not be withdrawn by the photographer before the closing of the show. All photos must be framed and hand-delivered.
ENTRY FEE Each entry is $10. No limit. Entry fees are made payable to Richmond Columbian Properties and are not refundable.
FRAMING Photographs must be framed and wired securely attached for hanging on a hook. No saw-tooth, clip frame hangers, or wires not securely attached will be accepted. Photographs printed on canvas or metal will be accepted with a wire attached for hanging.
AWARDS The top five advanced and the top five amateur photographs will each receive a $150 cash prize.
SALES All works will be for sale. Richmond Columbian Properties will retain a 20% commission. Prices on the entry form must include the 20% commission.
JUROR
Dana Smessaert is a photographer, writer, and death worker who explores history, change, and melancholy themes in her work. Receiving her MFA in Photography at East Carolina University. She is an Adjunct Instructor at Herron School of Art and Design, Grand Canyon University, and Mount Olive University. Dana is on the Pride Caucus Leadership team for the Society of Photographic Education for the second year, working as a reviewer and mentor. Dana was just a juror for the SPE Media Festival LGBTQ+ Division and for an exhibition by Midwest Nice. Dana enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, and reading in her free time. She is working on her newest photobook, Uncommon Sense, and developing a Greif and Death Art Class for the public.
INSURANCE AND LIABILITY Care will be taken in handling all photographs and frames, but Richmond Columbian Properties Inc. will not be responsible for loss or damage. Submitting an entry will be an agreement to release Richmond Columbian Properties Inc, its officers and members from all liability for loss or damage.
